Family Solicitor - Ref: 0210/2

We are looking for a Child Care Solicitor in our Family team at our West Bromwich office. Experience of dealing with local authority work; membership of the Child Care Panel; experience commensurate with 3+ years PQE; and advocacy experience are all requirements of the role.

Private Client Solicitor - Ref: 0410/4

Our Wills and Probate team in our Birmingham city centre office is looking to recruit a Private Client solicitor who has experience commensurate with 8 years PQE. The successful candidate will have experience of running their own caseload of wills, probates and trusts; be a member of STEP and SFE; and have experience of dealing with Inheritance Tax and Court of Protection matters. Having an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act would also be advantageous but not essential.

Legal Secretary/Caseworker: Civil Litigation Team (WB) - Ref: 0610/1

We have a vacancy in the West Bromwich office for a secretary/caseworker. In addition to legal secretarial duties, the role will also include handling part of the repossession process for the West Bromwich Building Society and the West Bromwich Mortgage Company Limited.

The successful applicant will have experience of civil litigation work and be confident in the procedures to be able to deal with the repossession work which will include issuing proceedings, preparing for hearings, instructing agents, enforcing court order to repossess properties, dealing with applications to suspend evictions and reporting to and liaising with the WBBS and WBMCL. Fast, accurate audio typing skills are also required.
