Trust & Probate

To die without a will so often leads to uncertainty and a trail of misery, potential conflict and avoidable tax bills. If you are unmarried and cohabiting without a will, the other person has no automatic right in law to inherit what you own.

Challinors Trust & Probate team can help you lay down a legally binding document to come into effect in the event of your death, leaving specific instructions to be given for money, property and personal possessions and appointing an executor to deal with your estate. The will can also address the difficult issue of selecting guardians to care for minors when a parent dies.

Our qualified staff conduct an initial interview to identify the key points of your will. Once drafted, you must sign your will, preferably at our offices to satisfy witnessing requirements. We then keep it safe until needed. This basic service costs as little as £185.00 + VAT.
